Wife of James (Jimmy) Bell Killin of Toronto, Ontario Born in 1907. Died June 24th, 1987. Age 80 years.
Sadie married Jimmy, who was the youngest of his family that included three sisters and three brothers; Jessie, Catherine, Mary, William, Archie & John.
Sadie was predecease by James who was 7 years her senior, when he passed away in 1966 at 65 years of age. Sadie would continue to be an active member of the “Killin clan”, living just around the corner from Archie and Jean (her brother-in-law and sister-in-law) until her passing some 22 years later.
If those who lived during WW2 were the “Greatest Generation” then Sadie would have been the last of our “Great-Greatest Generation”, born before the start of WW1.
Both James and Sadie are buried in the family plot.
