Great news. three of our kids got shots today and two more next week to allow us to start to think and plan about visiting again.

Family mystery solved by Craig Killin. Check out the update on Pte. William Killin's profile. Apparently he was married before he went off to war and was the first Killin to arrive in Canada/Toronto in 1911. Way to go Craig!

I just met (virtually) two second cousins we didn't know we had. Both are granddaughters of Mary Jane Bell Killin, on of our grandfather's older sisters. Before Mary was married to Ernie Miners she was married to Thomas Cowie, and had lived our west. One of the people I met through DNA testing is the daughter of James Bell Killin Cowie (Mary's son). The other is the daughter of John A Miners, who was Mary's son and adopted by Ernie.

It is my favourite place – on Tar Island in the 1000 Islands. Most of the view can’t be seen in the photo.
