Keith Lowe
1944-2000
Born September 16th 1944 in Birmingham, England to parents Reginald Lowe and Doris (Howell) Lowe.
After immigrating to Canada as a small child Keith grew up in Ajax with his parents, his Aunty Rae, older sister Maureen and younger brother Terry.
Keith met his wife-to-be Margaret Ellen Killin at St. Paul’s United Church in Ajax and were married September 24th, 1966. They moved into a new house on Dreyer Drive right after their honeymoon where they eventually raised two children Andrew and Jennifer.
Keith really enjoyed music, socializing and the outdoors. He sang in the church choir, played the piano, the clarinet, and even the accordion (to his children’s chagrin).
A short stint in sales lead to a career in appliance repair and ultimately to Maintenance management. After changing careers Keith still maintained an after-hours business in appliance repair enabling not only a second income but additional social ties to friends, family and the community.
Keith had a wonderful sense of humour and a caring manor that endeared him to so many. He was the tickle-monster uncle and a true friend to his extended family.
Keith passed very suddenly at the age of 55 on January 1st, 2000.
